Ultrasound of the thyroid, breasts and lymph nodes
Thyroid ultrasound
Allows assessment of size, structure, echogenicity, and the presence of nodules, cysts and inflammatory changes. Used to diagnose goiter, thyroiditis and growths.
Breast ultrasound
Used to detect cysts, fibroadenomas, fibrocystic breast disease and other changes. Recommended as a complement to mammography or when there are complaints.
Lymph node ultrasound
Assesses the size, shape and structure of lymph nodes in the neck, armpits and other areas. Helps detect inflammation, metastases and systemic diseases.
Note:
Technical breaks of up to 30 minutes may occur during working hours.
An examination takes from 5 to 40 minutes.
