Liver
Assesses structure, echogenicity, size, the presence of focal lesions and signs of inflammation or congestion.
Gallbladder
Checks shape, walls, the presence of stones, kinks, inflammation, and patency of the bile ducts.
Spleen
Assesses size, structure, and the presence of additional inclusions or signs of enlargement.
Pancreas
Examines shape, contours, echostructure, and signs of inflammation, cysts or tumors.
Retroperitoneal space
Checks for pathological masses, lymph nodes, free fluid, and the condition of the major vessels.
Note:
Technical breaks of up to 30 minutes may occur during working hours.
An examination takes from 5 to 40 minutes.
