Ultrasound of the urinary system and scrotal organs
Kidney ultrasound
Allows assessment of size, structure, and the presence of cysts, stones, inflammation and hydronephrosis. Used for pain, swelling, or abnormal test results.
Bladder ultrasound
Assesses shape, volume, walls, residual urine, and the presence of growths and inflammatory changes.
Prostate ultrasound
Performed transabdominally or transrectally. Assesses size, structure, and the presence of nodules, cysts, and signs of prostatitis or adenoma.
Testicular and scrotal ultrasound
Allows detection of varicocele, hydrocele, epididymitis, tumors and other pathologies. Used for pain, swelling, and infertility.
Renal vascular Doppler
Assesses blood flow in the renal arteries and veins. Used to diagnose stenosis, thrombosis, hypertension and perfusion disorders.
Note:
Technical breaks of up to 30 minutes may occur during working hours.
An examination takes from 5 to 40 minutes.
